A seven-person delegation comprising biotechnology experts from CityU led by President Way Kuo held talks in Beijing on pursuing greater collaboration in research and knowledge transfer during a visit from 24 to 25 January.

Research
A research team comprising experts from CityU , Harvard University and Nokia Bell Labs has successfully fabricated a tiny on-chip lithium niobate modulator, an electro-optic modulator which is more efficient, with faster data transmission and lower costs. CityU researchers are looking into its application for the coming 5G communication.

The Jockey Club Enhancing Youth Empathy Project through Immersive Visualisation, organised by CityU and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, has launched the “TEDY x WOW Showcase” from 19 to 28 January.
