Eligibility
You are eligible if :
- You are studying the 4-year degree majoring in Civil Engineering; AND
- You meet the minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.30 or above; AND
- You have completed at least 30 credit units in the first year of study as a full time undergraduate student at home institution before commencing the study at host institution. Completed credits must include courses specified by the respective College and departments for the first‐year curriculum; AND
- You meet one of the English requirements; AND
- TOEFL: 79 on the internet-based test or 550 on the paper-based test, OR
- IELTS: overall band score of 6.5, OR
- Taiwan General Scholastic Ability Test ( 大學學科能力測驗 (學測) ) or Advanced Subjects Test ( 指定科目考試 (指考)) : English result within the top percentile (頂標)
- You are not a student from Hong Kong; AND
- You meet all the admission requirements of the host institution.

CityU Courses
Tuition Fee
Participating students under the joint programme will pay tuition fee to their home institution irrespective of their study location.
Accommodation
On-campus accommodation
- Priority will be given to the first two study years of full-time non-local students in government-funded Bachelor's Degree programme.
- Applicants must submit their applications before the deadline specified by the Student Residence Office.
- There is no guarantee that bed spaces will be granted to applicants. The period of stay will be confined to the study term(s) as agreed by City University of Hong Kong and the home university.
Off-campus accommodation
Students should seek off-campus accommodation as early as possible before arriving in Hong Kong. More information about off-campus accommodation is available at the Student Residence Office’s website.
Student Visa / Entry Permit
Students should obtain a valid student visa/entry permit issued by the Hong Kong Immigration Department before arriving in Hong Kong. For information on visa/entry permit application, please visit our Global Engagement Office's website.
