CityU applied research results displayed at China Hi-Tech Fair
Researchers from City University of Hong Kong are taking the opportunity this week to showcase a number of its hi-tech technologies and products at the annual China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) from 12 to 17 October at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Centre.

More than 25 projects have been exhibited at the CityU booth at the Fair, including research from the Department of Computer Science, Department of Manufacturing Engineering and Engineering Management, Division of Building Science and Technology, Department of Physics and Materials Science, Department of Electronic Engineering, and Department of Biology and Chemistry.
During the Fair, the CityU booth has been run by TTO staff. Research assistants attached to the various projects involved have been on hand to demonstrate the various technologies and products.
Last year 350,000 visitors, a mix of business people, students and the general public, attended the Fair. CityU first took part in 2003.
