Team-Based Learning: AI Chatbot

The AI Chatbot is designed to enhance the Team-Based Learning (TBL) experience by supporting both the Individual Readiness Assurance Test (iRAT) and the Team Readiness Assurance Test (tRAT). It aims to create a more interactive and engaging classroom environment.

The technical aspects are handled by Talent and Education Development Office (TED). It ensures smooth integration and functionality, allowing educators to focus on teaching without worrying about technical issues.

Features

This specialised AI Chatbot utilises uploaded course materials, enabling it to answer questions that general AI chatbots cannot. By relying on the content educators provide, it ensures that responses are directly relevant to the course. While the AI may occasionally give incorrect answers, this encourages students to question and correct the chatbot, deepening their understanding.

The chatbot fosters active participation, helping students grasp and apply course concepts effectively.
