MMBC Career Talk for SLW students
On 17 October 2024 (Thursday), the Committee for Members with Mainland Backgrounds (MMBC) organized a Career Talk at the City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK). The talk featured distinguished speakers from both private practice and in-house legal sectors, who shared invaluable insights from their experiences in legal education and various professional fields.
During the session, the panellists explored the complexities of their roles within the legal profession, offered strategies for career advancement, and provided students with a thorough understanding of the various challenges and opportunities they may face in their careers.
The MMBC was established in October 2023 under the Standing Committee on Member Services with an aim to support members with Mainland background in the development of their professional career in Hong Kong.
內地背景律師委員會（MMBC）於2024年10月17日（星期四）在香港城市大學（CityUHK）為法律學生舉辦職業講座。講座邀請了來自私人執業和公司內部法律顧問的傑出法律從業者，分享他們在法律教育和各個專業領域中的寶貴經驗及建議。
在講座期間，講者探討了他們的角色在法律職業中的複雜性，提供了職業生涯發展策略，並讓學生全面了解在職業生涯中可能面臨的各種挑戰和機遇。
內地背景律師委員會於2023年10月成立，隸屬於香港律師會的會員服務常委會，旨在為擁有內地背景的會員提供在香港發展職業生涯的支援。
