Congratulations to Mr Richard KHAW Wei-kiang, SC

The Judiciary has recently announced the appointment of Mr Richard KHAW Wei-kiang, SC as a Recorder of the Court of First Instance of the High Court. Mr Khaw, SC obtained his LLB and PCLL from the City University of Hong Kong in 1992 and 1993 respectively. He then obtained his LLM from the University of Cambridge in 1994. Mr Khaw was called to the Hong Kong Bar in 1993. He was appointed as Senior Counsel in 2016 and as Deputy Judge of the Court of First Instance of the High Court for periods from 2018 to 2020.
