With a view to enhancing and strengthening research collaboration with outstanding researchers (from postdoctoral fellows to senior professors) from Mainland China and overseas, the State Key Laboratory of Marine Pollution (SKLMP) has established the SKLMP Visiting Fellowship Scheme, and is now calling for nominations of potential Visiting Fellows who intend to conduct collaborative research with our members at SKLMP.
The nominees must hold a PhD degree, and his/her research proposal must include a CityU member of SKLMP as a collaborative partner. The visiting period will be 1-6 months. The Research Areas include:
• Innovative Technology in Pollution Monitoring (e.g. antibiotics, pathogens, biotoxins);
• Innovative Technology in Pollution Control;
• Molecular Toxicology of Contaminants of Emerging Concern (CECs);
• Scientific Derivation of Water or Sediment Quality Criteria for CECs;
• Modelling of Pollutant Fate and Transport;
• Environmental Health (i.e., impacts of pollutants to human health);
• Environmental DNA;
• Remote Sensing for Monitoring of Marine Ecosystem Health;
• Marine Ecosystem Restoration;
• Carbon Neutrality in Marine Environments; or
• Other areas relevant to SKLMP’s mission and strategic research themes.
