Duties
- Conduct field studies and lab work;
- Conduct molecular biology experiments including DNA, RNA extraction, and PCR;
- Organise project data and report the project progress regularly;
- Assist in organising research activities; and Perform any other duties as assigned.
Occasional work on weekends/holidays may be required.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Microbiology/Biology/Bioinformatics, or related disciplines. Strong initiative, a sense of responsibility, good organisational, time management, and analytical skills; the ability to work independently in a mature manner under pressure; and the capability to adapt to an ever-changing working environment are required. Experience in microbiology experiments and bioinformatics techniques would be an advantage.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
