T. M. Gregory Memorial Scholarship / S.K.Y. Lee & Lee Chi Hung Scholarship for Hearing Impaired Students 2023/24
Introduction
The Scholarships shall be awarded to hearing impaired students for pursuing overseas and local postsecondary education commencing in the 2023/24 academic year.
Award Value:
The scholarship will be granted on an annual basis. Depending on the need of the candidate, part of the cost of technical aids and supportive services like sign language interpretation and notes taking services will be granted.
Eligibility
• T. M. Gregory Memorial Scholarship/ S.K.Y. Lee & Lee Chi Hung Scholarship are open to all needy and outstanding hearing impaired individuals whose hearing loss in better ear is in region of 50db or higher.
• Applicants must have resided in Hong Kong continuously for not less than 3 years.
• T. M. Gregory Memorial Scholarship/ S.K.Y. Lee & Lee Chi Hung Scholarship are intended to enable hearing impaired individuals who have normally completed Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Educatio (HKDSE) or Hong Kong Certificiate of Education Examination (HKCEE) or equivalent to pursue local post-secondary eduction in accredited institutions in Hong Kong.
• Priority will be given to those who have financial hardship in pursuing study.
