Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarship Scheme 2019-2020
Introduction
The Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarship Scheme has been one of the most prestigious award schemes to support outstanding undergraduate students.
Eligibility
Full time UGC-funded first year or second year students of 4-year curriculum with high standard
of academic performance are eligible to apply for the above scholarships. Detailed information

Details
Please note that a briefing session will be conducted by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust on 10
September 2019 (Tuesday) at 11:00 a.m. at R6052 (6/F, SDS Group Room, Bank of China (Hong Kong)
Complex). Interested students are strongly recommended to attend the briefing session for more
details. Please make reservation by sending an email enlisted your name and student ID no. to
sdsfinance@cityu.edu.hk. Seats will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
Eligible students may approach their respective academic departments for nominations or submit their
applications individually. For individual applications, application form can be downloaded from the
following website: http://www.cityu.edu.hk/sds/web/studentlife_scholarships_open.shtml. All duly
completed application form should be submitted to the collection box at the General Office of Student
Development Services, 6/F., Bank of China (Hong Kong) Complex by 12:00 noon, 20 September 2019
(Friday). Late application will NOT be considered. Shortlisted students will be invited to attend an
interview in person in October 2019. University Selection Panel will select about 4-5 students for Hong
Kong Jockey Club’s final selection.
