Aim(s):

This Braille cookie-making workshop aimed to provide a taste of creating and “reading” Braille to the participants, and teach them the general knowledge of Braille. It also encouraged students to interact with the groupmates with SEN during the cookie-making process.

Participants were sitting in groups and listening to the instructor’s sharing about braille and the routine of making cookies.
Students were paired up and their eyes were covered in turns to decorate cookies with chocolate beans to form a braille cell. The one who could see instruct the other how to put the chocolate beans onto the cookies.
