Reset and Change Password

Each student will be automatically given two computer accounts, namely Active Directory (AD) Account (for e-Learning, CSC Student LAN, Virtual Private Network, Wireless LAN, Portal, Express Terminal, AIMS) and Email Account for using the University facilities and services. Both accounts will have usernames containing the Electronic ID (EID).

You will need to activate your EID by supplying a password of your choice. After that, you can use this initial password to log into all central services and facilities.

 

Forgot password

If you forget your password, you can reset it with your student identity card at the IT Service Desk, located on 4/F, Li Dak Sum Yip Yio Chin Academic Building (LI). Alternatively, you may reset your password online.

 

Change password

The change/reset password utility is available in the CityU Portal under IT and Library Services.
