Reset and Change Password

In CityUHK, every student uses a unique Electronic ID (EID) to access computer services through CityUHK single sign-on system. These services include e-learning platform (Canvas), CityU Portal, Academic Information Management System (AIMS), Email services, Wi-Fi, Virtual Private Network (VPN), CSC Student LAN, and CityU Mobile App.

You will need to activate your EID by supplying a password. Once established, this password will grant you access to the central IT services and facilities.

In case you need to reset/change this password, please follow the below steps:

 

Forgot password

To reset your password, access the self-help feature via this link. Alternatively, you can use your student identity card to perform the reset at our IT Service Desk on the 4th floor of the Li Dak Sum Yip Yio Chin Academic Building (LI).

 

Change password
