University Life Induction Day 2024
To all new students who will be starting your first year of undergraduate studies in August 2024, you are cordially invited to attend the University Life Induction Day, one of the major events of the CityUHK Student Orientation 2024 that you shouldn’t miss! The event will provide you with an opportunity to become acquainted with the University, and you will be introduced to the various resources available to enhance your personal growth and plan for an exciting university experience.

Highlights:
- Interactive Induction Workshop with "Smart tips" on Scholarships, Career Development, Grants/ Loans, CityUHK Sports Teams, Student Development Programmes & Activities, and University Life Preparation.
- The SDS EXPO showcases a diverse range of Student Groups, Societies, CityUHK Student Chapters from various College/School/Departments, as well as major programmes offered by the Student Development Services. New students will have the opportunity to choose their own adventure by joining any of these groups, societies, and programmes that you have a passion for!
Enrollment:
- Please enroll between 14 and 16 August 2024, after collecting your student identity card at B5-307 (5/F, YEUNG Building).

Lucky Draw:
- New students who attend BOTH the University Life Induction Day on 17 August 2024 and the University Welcoming Ceremony on 27 August 2024 will have the opportunity to participate in a lucky draw, with a chance to win prizes such as an iPhone, Smart Watch, or other electronic devices.
Adverse Weather Arrangement:
- In case of Typhoon Signal Pre-No. 8 or above or Rainstorm Black Warning issued at 7:00 am on the event day, the University Life Induction Day will be cancelled.
