Aims of Minor

  • To integrate students from different disciplines into neuroscience
  • To provide core knowledge on the different topics of the nervous system
  • To inspire young talents to pursue their career in the field

Intended Learning Outcomes of Minor (MINILOs)

Upon successful completion of this minor, students should be able to:

  1. Develop scientific inquiry and critical thinking skills
  2. Evaluate key concepts in the nervous system
  3. Implement core knowledge and skills in research related to brain development and functioning, pathophysiological basis of brain diseases
  4. Apply neuroscience concepts to scientific issues of regional and global health problems
  5. Integrate neuroscience knowledge to various applications such as artificial intelligence, brain-machine interface, deep learning, improved mental life, and promising cures for various brain disorders

Minor Requirements (15 credit units)
