Aims of Minor
- To integrate students from different disciplines into neuroscience
- To provide core knowledge on the different topics of the nervous system
- To inspire young talents to pursue their career in the field
Intended Learning Outcomes of Minor (MINILOs)
Upon successful completion of this minor, students should be able to:
- Develop scientific inquiry and critical thinking skills
- Evaluate key concepts in the nervous system
- Implement core knowledge and skills in research related to brain development and functioning, pathophysiological basis of brain diseases
- Apply neuroscience concepts to scientific issues of regional and global health problems
- Integrate neuroscience knowledge to various applications such as artificial intelligence, brain-machine interface, deep learning, improved mental life, and promising cures for various brain disorders
