Three start-up teams from the City University of Hong Kong's HK Tech 300 program were invited to showcase their award-winning projects during the Hong Kong I&T Strives Ahead thematic forum at Science Park on 30 June 2023. These teams were awarded a Gold Medal with Congratulations of the Jury at the 48th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva, and Professor Kenneth Leung Mei-yee’s team also won the Special Prize.

The forum also celebrated the 26th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). Co-organized by the Innovation & Technology Commission, the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, and the Beijing-Hong Kong Academic Exchange Centre, the forum brought together local academics and technology pioneers to discuss the future development and business potential of innovation and technology in the region.
One of the key ways that CityU is supporting the growth of innovation and technology is through our HK Tech 300 program. This program was established to provide support and resources for start-ups and entrepreneurs in the region. Through HK Tech 300, we provide access to funding, mentorship, networking opportunities, and a range of other resources designed to support the continued growth and success of start-ups and entrepreneurs.
