Get Started in Guang Embroidery (Family Class)

Using needles instead of brushes and threads as pigments, Guang Embroidery depicts lifelike natural scenery. As one of the “Four Great Chinese Embroideries”, Guang Embroidery has been passed down through folk traditions for over a thousand years, carrying the wisdom of generations of traditional craftsmen in Guangdong. Its skillful needlework and unique style make it highly appreciated.

Conducted by the instructors from Guangxiuzhuang (a Guang Embroidery craftsmanship factory in Shunde), who will provide instruction on basic knowledge and needlework techniques, CityU faculty and staff are welcome to bring along one child to participate and experience the fun together.

Important Note:

  1. Participants need to pay a deposit of HK$300 which will be refunded after the completion of class.
  2. Please notify CEO by email on or before 27 October 2023 if you cannot attend the class. Otherwise, the deposit paid will not be refunded.
