CityU Philharmonic Orchestra kicks off the CityU Arts Festival 2023/24 with the hottest anime songs! Japanese anime and manga are beloved worldwide for their significant and diversified styles. The creative stories are illustrated vividly through anime songs, awakening the courage and dreams hidden deep in our hearts. The Opening Concert will feature the Hong Kong Doujin Philharmonia Ensemble Quintet, performing anime hits with the CityU Philharmonic Orchestra. The two performance groups will jointly premiere a specially arranged selection of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, taking the audience on a journey through time and space and the ups and downs of the anime world.

城大管弦樂團以熱血沸騰的動漫樂章為城大藝術節揭開序幕！日本動畫及漫畫作品風格百變，魅力風靡全球。當中的動漫樂章勾畫段段天馬行空的故事，喚醒深藏心底的勇氣與夢想。開幕音樂會邀請香港同人管弦樂團室樂五重奏的樂手，與城大管弦樂團同台獻藝，演奏炙手可熱的人氣動漫歌曲。兩團更會聯合首演特別編製的《鬼滅之刃》精選歌曲，與觀眾超越時空，漫遊跌宕起伏的動漫國度。
