Your CityU Staff Microsoft 365 (M365) Account is in the form:
EID-f
where EID is your CityU Electronic ID.
e.g. if your EID is "cctom", your M365 Account is "cctom-f".
You will enter your M365 account in this form when login your M365 account through the web at "Microsoft 365 for CityU" Sign In page.
Your CityU Microsoft 365 (M365) UserID (or Username) is in the form:
EID-f@staff.cityu.edu.hk
where EID is your CityU Electronic ID.
e.g. if your EID is "cctom", your M365 account User Name/ID is "cctom-f@staff.cityu.edu.hk".
This M365 UserID (or Username) will be used when you are setting up your mobile device or popular Email Client Software to access your M365 account.
The "Email Address" of your M365 account is in the form of "user@staff.cityu.edu.hk". Your M365 account can have one Primary Email Address and one or more Non-primary Email Addresses. The Primary Email Address will be set as the Sender Address for all email sent from your M365 account.
If you have not yet registered an Email Alias for your EID, the Primary Email Address of your M365 account is "EID-f@staff.cityu.edu.hk".
If you have registered an Email Alias for your EID, the Primary Email Address of your M365 account will be "your-email-alias@staff.cityu.edu.hk", and the address "EID-f@staff.cityu.edu.hk" will be the Non-primary Email Address of your M365 account.
e.g. if your EID is "cctom", and you have not registered an Email Alias, your M365 account Primary Email address is "cctom-f@staff.cityu.edu.hk".
However, if you have registered an Email Alias "Tom.Chan" for your EID "cctom2", your M365 account Primary Email address will be "Tom.Chan@staff.cityu.edu.hk", and "cctom2-f@staff.cityu.edu.hk" will be your Non-primary Email address.
