BSc Chemistry aims to train science graduates to meet the demand for technical, educational, and industrial professionals. In addition to core courses and electives, students can specialize in one area to attain necessary knowledge and skills, which can be applied in the real life:
- Comprehensive Chemistry  (accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry)
- Cosmetic Chemistry
- Forensic Chemistry
- Global Research Enrichment and Technopreneurship (GREAT)

Talented students can select one of the programmes to complete two degrees with an accelerated pace:
- Undergraduate plus Taught Postgraduate Degree Programme; or
- Joint Bachelor's Degree Program between City University of Hong Kong and The University of Manchester
