〈無國界動物〉是一系列模仿動物學和植物學繪圖的畫作。畫中的雀鳥、動物、樹木，均為兩個不和國家徽號的雜種，並冠以加上連號的名字，以示其來源品種。「捻角虎」是老虎和捻角山羊的合體，而兩者分別為象徵印度和巴基斯坦兩國的動物。國徽旨在團結一邦，但當國家將不屬於它的動植物獨佔時，國徽就成為紛爭所在。虛構品種將不和國家的象徵結合，恍惚令這些國家和好。
The series of works titled Hyphenated Lives resemble zoological and botanical drawings that are hybrid specimens of birds, animals and trees formed through the merger of species adopted as national emblems by politically partitioned countries. The hybrids have been given hyphenated names signaling their origins: “Ti-khor” is the fusion of tiger and markhor, the national animals of India and Pakistan. Though national symbols were meant to unite people from a region, they often become points of contestation when countries try to monopolize natural forms that don’t belong to either side. By combining individual symbols, these imagined species symbolically seem to unify the otherwise conflicted nations they represent.
