Senate Nominating Committee

Terms of Reference

  1. To recommend to the Senate appointments to Senate/Council/University committees, selection committees and special/ad hoc committees where vacancies exist, for approval by the Senate;
  2. To recommend to the Council appointment as appropriate/necessary where a vacancy exists, for approval by the Council via the Senate;
  3. To recommend the establishment of special non-standing committees charged with specific consideration of issues under the Senate's mandate;
  4. To review the terms of reference and constitution of all Senate committees, and recommend revisions, dissolution, or establishment of new Senate committees;
  5. To report on its business to the Senate at such intervals as the Senate may decide.
