Keith, an alumnus of CityUHK, has garnered recognition for his exceptional ability to integrate technology and art in his interactive works. His remarkable talent and contributions to the field have earned him the prestigious title of "Artist of the Year (Media Art)" by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council.

During his tenure as a research assistant and later as a full-time teaching staff at SCM, Keith pursued and successfully completed his Master's degree in Multimedia Information Technology, thus acquiring a wealth of knowledge and practical experience in the realm of technology.

Keith's career path took an unexpected turn when he received a scholarship to study animation and visual effects in New York. It was during his time there that he encountered a fellow classmate from CityUHK SCM, whose influence steered him towards a new direction in his artistic journey. Inspired by the vibrant art scene in New York, Keith developed a keen interest in new media art. Upon his return to Hong Kong, he was invited to join SCM as a researcher and eventually transitioned into a teaching role.

Reflecting on his experience as an educator, Keith finds immense joy in the process of teaching and takes great satisfaction in witnessing his students' burgeoning interest in media art. With a multitude of accolades to his name, including the renowned PRIX Ars Electronica 2008 in Austria, Keith decided to become a media artist in 2009. Collaborating with like-minded individuals, he actively works towards advancing the development of media art.

Keith's journey towards success was not without its challenges, but he takes great pride in collaborating with professionals from various fields, such as composers and anatomy professors, to showcase the diverse facets of media art. The knowledge and skills he acquired during his Master's degree continue to inform and shape his artistic endeavours. Keith's ultimate aspiration is to devote himself to nurturing the next generation of artists and providing them with the necessary support and opportunities to flourish.
