Library Renovation Consultation Forum

With the support of the University, the Library has established the Information Space in 2005 to further integrate information technology into the Library environment.  The area was very well received by users since its opening.  In 2006, the Library has successfully obtained funding from the University Grant Committee (UGC) for a major spatial reorganization. Initially, the Library has increased over 200 seats for users by relocating four technical services sections to a more remote corner last November. 

Coming up, the Library will kick off with full fledge the construction of Learning Commons, an ideal common space that brings together library, technology and other academic support units to facilitate individual study as well as collaborative and interactive teaching, learning and research activities.

In pursuit of our dreams with you in establishing a superb learning and research environment in the Library, your inputs are crucial in shaping the future design.  You are cordially invited to attend the consultation forum to share with us your ideas and suggestions on this library renovation.
