What is the TEDY Makeathon?
TEDY Makeathon is a 72-hour event in which participants gather in a single place to rapidly prototype assistive devices and novel solutions to problems that different groups face. “Challenges” describing these specific problems will be issued to teams comprising students, professionals and potential beneficiaries. During the event, teams will have access to rapid prototyping tools (3D printers, laser cutters, etc) and facilities. They will collaborate on developing prototypes that solve these challenges, and present their ideas at the end of the event!
