Abstract: In this placement, the student has undertaken to work with an adolescent client who has committed theft. The client has been referred to the placement agency for counseling services while under probation supervision. The placement student has done the initial intake and assessment interviews that included an office interview and a home visit. This compilation of recordings comprises a total of five recordings of the counseling sessions following the initial assessment. The objectives of the placement student's intervention were 1) to deal with the client's stealing behavior and 2) to work on improving the client's relationship with her mother. Each recording contains information on the following: the session objectives, a summary of the content, an assessment of the issues in focus, an evaluation of the social worker's performance, a follow-up action plan and a plan of the next session.  Of the five counseling sessions, four were office interviews with the adolescent client and one was a home visit with the client and her mother.

(Remark: The summary recordings' appendices are not included in this collection of recordings.)
