The Asian Law and Economics Association (AsLEA) welcomes submissions for its 2025 Annual Conference on August 13-15, 2025. The deadline for submission of abstracts is March 31, 2025 11:59pm (HKT)

Submission Guidelines

1. Format:
   • Language: English only.
   • Abstract: 500–800 words.
   • Full Paper: For those who wish to be considered for the AsLEA Best Paper Award for Junior Scholars, a FULL PAPER is required upon submission.
   • Content: Empirical and/or theoretical approaches are welcome. Submissions should pertain to any topic at the intersection of law and economics.
2. How to Submit:
   • Please submit your abstracts here .
   • To be considered for the AsLEA Best Paper Award for Junior Scholars, a FULL PAPER must be submitted by a separate email to aslea.2025@cityu.edu.hk .
   • You may submit up to two submissions for consideration, but each individual can present only once as a primary author at the conference (co-authors may present other accepted papers).

Deadlines:

• Submission deadline: March 31, 2025 (11:59 p.m. HKT).
• Decisions will be announced by the end of April. Registration will open in early May.
• Registration deadline for paper presenters: June 16, 2025
• Registration deadline for non-presenters: July 31, 2025

Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements as AsLEA and the local organizer are unable to provide stipends or expense reimbursements.
