CCCL Core Member Professor Liu Qiao was invited as a panellist in the debate session at the 2022 CISG Conference themed “The CISG, 40 Years and Beyond: What the Past will Bring to the Future”, which was jointly organized by the Hong Kong Department of Justice, the Asian Academy of International Law, the Moot Alumni Association and supported by the UNCITRAL Regional Centre for Asia and the Pacific, and held on 27 March 2022. Professor Liu participated as one of the debate team members to discuss two topics, including “The mere reference to general terms and conditions is sufficient to incorporate them into a CISG contract” and “The CISG can govern an arbitration agreement”.
