An online meeting of international contract law experts including Professor Liu Qiao of the CCCL at SLW was held between 16:00 and 18:00 pm (HK time) on 5 January 2022. The meeting was the third round meeting of an ongoing project of “National Laws of Contract in Comparative Context” organised by leading academics from Oxford Professors Hugh Beale and Birke Hacker. The authors came from major jurisdictions including Germany, France, Sweden, Spain, Italy and China. Professor Liu will be the sole author responsible for writing the book on ‘Chinese Contract Law”. Books in the series are expected to be published by Intersentia in 2022 and 2023.
