Professor Wang Jiangyu, Director of CCCL, commented on Meng Wanzhou’s extradition case in an interview with Lianhe Zaobao, Singapore’s Flagship Chinese newspaper. He indicated that Canada shall reach consensus with the United States not to extradite Meng in order to evade the sanctions imposed by China or the political pressures from its own country and the United States.
