Professor Jiangyu Wang quoted in The Economist “China and America are borrowing each other’s weapons”

Professor Jiangyu Wang, CCCL Director, advocated that developing countries had minimal alternatives to China’s Belt and Road Initiative project until recently. Therefore, he believes that if the US’s Build Back Better World project is implemented effectively, it can be a healthy competitor for China’s s Belt and Road Imitative. In turn, this necessitates that countries are required to pick between the Belt and Road Initiative and the US’s Build Back Better World project.
