CCCL Director Professor Wang Jiangyu commented on China’s legislative plan for the next five years to make laws to govern maritime disputes in an interview with the South China Morning Post. He observed that this reflects China’s increasing belief in the need to use international law, though it will still decide to take part in international arbitration proceedings on case-by-case basis.
