CCCL Director Professor Wang Jiangyu discussed the prospect of the Meng Wanzhou case in light of the recent developments in US-China relations under the Biden administration in an interview with BBC News. He observed that, although President Biden initially was probably not keen on arresting the CFO of Huawei, he is now more interested using the Meng Wanzhou case, among other difficulties created by the Trump administration, as bargaining chips in the US-China tech war.
