Professor Wang Jiangyu appeared on CGTN to comment on the international law and international relations aspects of U.S.-China competition in closure of consulates

In this interview with China Global Television Network (CGTN)’s populaer news programme, China24, Wang Jiangyu, Director of the Centre for Chinese and Comparative Law, commented that closure itself is not a violation of international law per se, provided that the premises, archives and property of the consulates are protected in accordance with the 1963 Vienna Convention on Consulate Relations.
