  • As a principal investigator (PI), Dr. He has secured a number of research grants with a total value of HK$6.15 million since joining CityU in 2019. These include two General Research Fund (GRF) and one Early Career Scheme (ECS) from Research Grant Council (RGC) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), one General Program from National Science Foundation of China (NSFC), one Marine Ecology Enhancement Fund (MEEF) from Expansion of Hong Kong International Airport into a Three-Runway System Project, and one Marine Conservation and Enhancement Fund (MCEF) from Hong Kong Offshore LNG Terminal Project, along with several grants funded by the State Key Laboratory of Marine Pollution (SKLMP) and Hong Kong Branch of Southern Marine Science and Engineering Guangdong Laboratory (HKB). Dr. He has also actively served as Co-Investigator (Co-I) in many other projects (*Supervised Postdoc as PI).
