Contact Us Ta-134/A, Gulshan Badda Link 61 383 766 284 [email protected]Dr. He’s research focuses on characterizing the occurrence, distribution, transformation, and fate of emerging contaminants in aquatic environments, and how aquatic organisms respond when exposed to these contaminants (Environ. Sci. Technol. 46(17), 9701-8; Water Res. 46(19), 6359-68; Water Res. 114, 78-87; Environ. Sci. Technol. 52(6), 3820-30; J. Environ. Manage. 280, 111855; Environ. Sci. Technol. 57(44), 17110-22; J. Hazard. Mater. 437, 129377). In particular, Dr. He’s research combines a variety of chemical and toxicological tools to understand the exposure and toxic mechanisms that lead to maladaptive responses in exposed in vitro and aquatic organism models (Environ. Sci. Technol. 45(15), 6268-74; Environ. Sci. Technol. 51(2), 940-7; Environ. Int. 121(Pt 1), 824-31; Environ. Int. 180, 108212). Dr. He’s keen interests are studying emerging organic pollutants (e.g., liquid crystal monomers (LCMs), endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs), pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs), Per- and Polyfluorinated Substances (PFAS), microplastics) (J. Hazard. Mater. 423 (Pt B), 127146; Environ. Int. 180, 108212; Toxicol. Lett. 176(3), 230-8; Chemosphere 80(5), 578-84; J. Hazard. Mater. 445, 130578; J. Hazard. Mater. 463, 132822; Environ. Sci. Technol. Lett. 8(12), 1065-70). To date, he has published >59 papers, 1 book chapter (submitted), and 1 patent (Us filed).
