Mr Michael TYRALA, Research Degree student, co-authored a paper for the "Trade Union Advisory Committee to the OECD" titled "The G20/OECD Base Erosion and Profit Shifting Package - Assessment by the TUAC Secretariat". The paper provides a detailed assessment and critique of the OECD's BEPS project, which represents the most far reaching attempt to reform the international corporate tax system to date, but is fraught with a number of serious shortcomings.

Mr Michael TYRALA, Research Degree student, co-authored a paper for the "Trade Union Advisory Committee to the OECD" titled "The Case for Making Country-by-Country Reporting Public". The paper provides an analysis of the OECD's BEPS Action 13, the most revolutionary of a new batch of transparency provisions aimed at multinational enterprises, and argues that the benefits of making such reports public far surpass any potential risks.

On the top of this high-level UN consulting, Dr Jonathan London runs tow two blogs addressing politics and society in Vietnam. These include an eponymous English language blog and Xin lỗi Ông (‘Excuse me Sir’) the first and only political blog written by a foreign in Vietnamese. The blog have powerfully demonstrated the influence of new media. Since establishing the blogs in 2013, Dr London’s blogging has registered millions of page views, both through the main sites (60,000 views and 300,000 since 2014) and numerous aggregating sites in Vietnam and overseas that feature his writing. The blogs have been directly quoted by leading newspapers, such as The Wall Street Journal.
