PHY Professors Win Three Awards at Asia Exhibition of Innovations & Inventions

Researchers from the City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) again achieved remarkable success at the 4th Asia Exhibition of Innovations & Inventions Hong Kong (AEII), winning a total of 25 awards and being the highest among local universities. Among them, two Gold Award-winning teams and one Silver Award-winning team are comprised of members from the Department of Physics (PHY) under the College of Science (CSCI). We are confident that their innovative research would have a positive impact in addressing pressing global issues.

By promoting government policies that support innovation, the AEII celebrates achievements and encourages a culture of creativity and problem-solving across Asia and beyond. The 4th AEII, held on 5 and 6 December shone a spotlight on 141 of Asia’s best innovations and inventions from Asia, highlighting the region’s creativity and technological advancements. CityUHK showcased 21 projects, earning 25 awards for its outstanding contributions.
