Prof PARK was a Technical Director and co-founder of Solar Skin Pty Limited which is a spin-out company from University of New South Wales in Sydney Australia and has established the first facility for fabricating large-area perovskite solar panel in Australia together with co-founders of the company. He led the team to develop the technology required for mass-manufacturing large-size perovskite solar panels and perovskite-silicon tandem solar cell process. Recently, he is focusing on “Full-Vacuum” processed perovskite solar cells for commercialisation of the technology.

Prof PARK also had been working for both Samsung and LG Electronics in Korea and has achieved multiple world records for high efficiency of crystalline silicon solar cells and modules. He was a Head of R&D at LG Electronics in Korea and developed several advanced crystalline silicon solar cells & modules such as PERC, HJT, TOPCon and BCSC, and successfully transferred the developed technologies into mass-production. He also was a lead CI and CI (project manager) of 7 Korean Government projects as well as 2 Australian Government projects. He has published more than 250 technical publications including patents as well as technical journal papers. He also has a 6 sigma Master Black Belt (MBB) and TRIZ Specialist license as well.

Prof PARK undertook his PhD studies in School of Photovoltaics and Renewable Energy Engineering at University of New South Wales Sydney under the supervision of Scientia Professor Martin Green.
