Congratulations to Miss Ruoqi Zhang, MSE Alumna for being awarded the College of Engineering Medal 2024

Congratulations to Miss Ruoqi Zhang for being awarded the College of Engineering Medal 2024! This prestigious recognition has marked her hard work, dedication, and outstanding achievements throughout her academic journey.

The College of Engineering Medal is awarded annually to a final-year undergraduate student in recognition of his/her outstanding academic performance and well-rounded personal qualities. 

Ruoqi graduated with first class honours and was on the Dean’s List for four semesters.  Her outstanding academic performance has earned her the College of Engineering Dean’s Scholarship and the Best Final Year Project Award.  She participated actively in a wide range of competitions and received a number of awards and prizes during her studies at CityUHK.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Ruoqi was engaged in various community and extra-curricular activities. Besides serving as Project Manager and Student Mentor of her department, she also volunteered to teach English in several programs including Principal Chan Free Tutorial World and Stepping Stones China.  She also participated in various sports activities and competitions.

The selection panel was impressed by Ruoqi’s positive attitude towards study and life, as well as her excellent communication skills.
