As part of the CityUHK Alumni Homecoming Day, the Jockey Club College of Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences (JCC) held its inaugural Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVM) Alumni Homecoming on 2 November 2024, uniting 40 alumni and current BVM students for a day of celebration and connection.
The event commenced with an inspiring welcome from Dean Vanessa Barrs, followed by a sharing session with our distinguished veterinary alumni: Dr. TSE Ming Yi Jennifer (Class of 2023), Dr. YAU Tin Hang Felix (Class of 2024), and Dr. LEE Sze Ming Martin (Class of 2024). Each graduate shared invaluable insights from their post-graduate journeys, offering inspiration and practical advice that resonated deeply with students preparing to embark on their own veterinary careers. The event closed with a lively mingling session, allowing alumni to network with current students, fostering new friendships and professional connections.
Special thanks were given to Hill’s Pet Nutrition for their generous support and participation, which enriched the event with valuable industry insights.
