Khepri

Project Khepri is an innovative initiative that utilises insect biotechnology to create sustainable solutions for waste management and protein production. The project cultivates bugs that can consume garden, agricultural, and kitchen waste, converting it into nutrient-rich organic fertiliser and high-protein insect biomass. Project Khepri aims to address global waste management and food shortage challenges by turning carbon-based waste into valuable resources, while also promoting a more sustainable and environmentally friendly approach to agriculture and food production. Insect bioconversion offers numerous benefits over traditional livestock farming, including lower water, land and feed requirements, and reduced greenhouse gas emissions. Overall, Project Khepri represents a promising development in the field of sustainable agriculture and food production.
