The proposed product is a patch of hydrogel with spirulina extract to expedite wound healing and has the potential to replace topical oxygen therapy. The beneficiaries will be individuals with mild to moderate, acute or chronic wounds. It is applicable to burns and diabetic foot ulcers. It minimizes the duration of suffering from pain, discomfort and inconvenience. What makes it stand out in the market are its all-in-one features, encompassing a physical barrier, and an array of beneficial activities, including antibacterial, antifungal, anti-scarring, anti-inflammatory and antioxidative functions.
