ITsci Company Limited is a technology start-up developing artificial intelligence (AI) pathology solutions. Our team is led by Dr Condon Lau, Mr Alan Law, Ms Cherry Chan, and Ms Fiona Kee, and is staffed primarily by CityU students and alumni. We work with experts in AI, veterinary pathology and veterinary oncology at CityU, along with practitioners from similar fields in Hong Kong and Shenzhen hospitals. ITsci is supported by Hong Kong Government’s Home Affairs Bureau (Greater Bay Area Youth Employment Scheme (GBA-YES)), Innovation and Technology Commission (Technology Start-up Support Scheme for Universities (TSSSU)) under the Innovation and Technology Fund, Hong Kong Cyberport (Incubation programme), Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (Science and Technology Entrepreneur Programme (STEP)), CityU (HK Tech 300 Angel Fund) and HKAI Lab (Accelerator Program).

Veterinary diagnostics is a multi-billion USD market. Owing to the advantages of our AIstain technology over that of our competitors, such as traditional antibody immunostains and AI diagnostics software, ITsci expects to expand rapidly in this market. Our first AIstain product will be supplied to the CityU Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (VDL) to use on cat and dog lymphoma samples.
