Albacastor Technology Limited is dedicated to developing green, odourless, oil mist-free solutions with IoT for various industries. It is now being incubated by HKSTP and CityU. It is also a local manufacturer listed by both the Environmental Protection Department and the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department. Albacastor has designed (1) devices to address environmental issues (UVent® Smart Ventilation), (2) an IoT platform (UVent® IoT) for automatic control and data collection, and (3) data products for health data heat maps.
The UVent® Smart Ventilation system is an advanced odour and oil mist treatment system that combines UVC, photocatalysts and IoT technologies to solve odour and oil mist emissions problems by optimising efficiency. The treatment efficiency of TVOC, PM2.5 and PM 10 is up to 92%, a result certified by the Certification Centre of the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA).
It can provide (1) air quality improvement, (2) energy savings, (3) water management, (4) cost savings (money and time) and (5) fire risk reduction for end users and the community.
