Innovation and Technology Manager, Catalonia Trade and Investment

Mr Kenny Wong is the Innovation and Technology Manager of the Catalonia Trade and Investment office in Hong Kong – a liaison office set up by the Government of Catalonia in Spain. He managed cross-border projects and activities related to innovation, R&D, start-ups, technology scouting and the different EU innovation funding programmes. Mr Wong strongly believes disruptive innovation is the key for any business to stay competitive in the market in the 21st century.

Before joining the Catalonia Trade and Investment, Mr Wong had spent years working in corporate planning, project management, as well as telecommunication engineering in both mainland China and Hong Kong.

After spending his early years in Hong Kong, Singapore and New Zealand, Mr Wong graduated with a BE in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and obtained his MBA from the Chinese Europe International Business School (CEIBS), China.
