Vice-chairman of the InnoTech, Creativity and Culture Committee, The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce; and General Manager of Hip Shing Hong (Holdings) Company Limited
Mr Jonathan Fong is the General Manager of Hip Shing Hong (Holdings) Company Limited, a 73-year-old property developer in Hong Kong. Hip Shing Hong’s portfolio includes a mix of commercial, residential and hospitality projects, several of which are managed by Mr Fong.
As the company founder’s 3rd generation, Mr Fong aims to be a leader of innovation and change, in order to carry the company and his grandfather’s legacy into the future. He is currently in charge of several initiatives, including the digital transformation strategy of Hip Shing Hong’s operations, and the launch of a new pop-up business line catering to short-term retail leases in lieu of the changing retail leasing landscape.
Prior to joining his company, Mr Fong worked at CSI Properties Limited and Hang Seng Investment Management Limited. He holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, and a Master’s in Real Estate from The University of Hong Kong.
