Co-founder and Non-Executive Director, Techtronic Industries Company Limited
Dr Roy Chung Chi-ping is the Co-founder of Techtronic Industries Company Limited and currently its Non-Executive Director. He is also the Founder and Chairman of Bright Future Charitable Foundation.
Dr Chung holds a Doctorate Degree of Engineering from the University of Warwick, UK, and a Doctorate Degree of Business Administration from the City University of Macau. He was awarded a number of Honorary Doctors by various local and overseas universities, including an Honorary Doctor of Science by the University of Warwick. He has also been appointed as an Industrial Professor by the University of Warwick since 2010.
He was Chairman of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries and currently its Honorary President. He was also Chairman of Vocational Training Council, President and Chairman of The Boys' & Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong, and Court Chairman and Deputy Council Chairman of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. In 1997, he was awarded the Young Industrialist Awards of Hong Kong and was further awarded Industrialist of the Year in 2014.
