Organized by the Hong Kong Institute for Clean Energy (HKICE) at City University of Hong Kong, 2025 HK-Seoul International Symposium on Functional Materials focuses on the core discussion areas of functional materials for clean energy development.

These areas include the design and synthesis of functionals for energy generation, energy storage technologies, catalysts for energy conversion, nanomaterials, and their applications in clean energy solutions. With a specific emphasis on these critical topics, the symposium aims to bring together experts, researchers, and industry professionals to exchange ideas, present cutting-edge research, and foster collaborations in advancing sustainable energy technologies.
