Veterinary Community Outreach Programme (VCOP)
The Veterinary Community Outreach Programme (VCOP) empowers Hong Kong's communities in-need by supporting the human-animal bond. VCOP's approach is unique - we work with specific communities (disadvantaged, remote, elderly and special health needs) to provide owner education, practical support for basic pet care, and targeted research to tackle issues specific to the region. VCOP employs highly experienced veterinary staff who also provide supervised volunteering opportunities for BVM students to develop their practical skills in a safe environment. VCOP runs a dedicated van to facilitate our work wherever it is needed.
What VCOP does
