Professor WANG Yu received about HK$1.5M funding together with over HK$3M Research Talent Hub (RTH) funding from the Mainland-Hong Kong Joint Funding Scheme (MHKJFS) launched by the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) of Hong Kong and the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), China. MHKJFS aims to support research and development (R&D) collaboration among universities, research institutes, and technology enterprises in Hong Kong and the Mainland. This project aims to improve TBM safety and efficiency by developing machine learning algorithms and software for TBM automatic control.
